KALYAN: Blackmailing his girlfriend proved fatal for a man who was killed by the woman's husband and his brother after they learnt that he was harassing her.
The incident took place in Ulhasnagar on Thursday. Lavlesh Rajjak (25) was killed by the woman's husband Laxman Natrajan and his brother Ram Natrajan. Sources said on September 25, Lavlesh and the woman (whose identity has been withheld) went on a trip where Lavlesh clicked photos of them together. Laxman warned his wife not to meet Lavlesh again. When the woman refused to meet him, Lavlesh told her that he would make the photos public. The woman then told her husband about the photos.
On Thursday, Laxman told his wife to call Lavlesh home. "When Lavlesh reached near the house, the accused stabbed him to death," said senior police inspector of Central police station, S P Surve.
