PANCHKULA: A man arrested five days ago in Sector 12, Panchkula, with a country-made pistol, Jai Bhagwan of Sonipat, confessed to the Panchkula police that he had bought the weapon to kill his sister-in-law.
"He said he had bought the pistol to kill his sister-in-law because she is involved in an extra-marital affair," said Panchkula CIA in-charge Karmavir Singh.
Jai Bhagwan was arrested on June 2 with a country-made pistol and a live cartridge.
He had been living in a rented accommodation in the city for past one month.
