INDORE: A 17-year-old girl was molested by his relative who also prepared an indecent MMS and threatened her not to disclose it to anyone. The victim is said to be an orphan and has been living with her uncle at a house in Bhagat Singh Marg here.
The investigating officer K L Rathore said the accused Deepak Survyavanshi, who is related to victim and his friend, Sanju, on finding the girl alone in her house allegedly molested her. She allegedly forced to sit in an objectionable position, while one of the accused filmed her using his cell phone and threatened to make it public if she informed anyone about the incident.
Rathore said that on May 28, there was a community programme, and the girl's aunt and uncle went to attend the programme. The accused Deepak and Sanju finding her alone reached her home on the pretext of returning some utensils. They made advances to which the girl snubbed. Annoyed by the snub, one of the accused grabbed her and forced her to sit on his lap while the other prepared an MMS clip.
Though the incident took place four months back, the girl did not speak up fearing Deepak and Surya, but somehow she mustered the courage and shared it with her aunt on Tuesday who persuaded her to lodge a complaint with Chhatripura police. The police said that Deepak was also related to the uncle and aunt of the victim.
Police have booked both the accused under section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), 507 (criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication), 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).Link: 2 booked for molestation and blackmail of teen girl
