Mumbai: A 27-year-old woman has claimed that she was raped by a doctor in Mumbai while she was visiting his clinic for treatment. The victim is a resident of Ghatkopar. She was visiting the doctor's clinic at Khar in suburban Mumbai.
A case under Section 376 of Indian Penal Code has been registered at Khar police station but the police have not been able to arrest the man named by the woman so far. The victim alleges that the police have not taken the complaint seriously and have let the accused escape.
The police have denied the allegation and say the doctor is on the run. An office from the Khar police station added they are trying to trace the doctor so that he can be arrested.
