GURGAON: A college girl studying here was sexually assaulted by four people, including her colleagues, after taking her to Alwar in Rajasthan, police said Wednesday. One of the accused has been arrested, but three others are on the run, according to police.
The victim was a B.A. second year student in a government college and a resident of Gurgaon. She was taken to Alwar Aug 3 and gangraped for several days, police said.
"The main accused, Rahul, a resident of Feroze Gandhi Colony, was arrested. He abducted her on the pretext of offering her a lift Aug 3 after college classes and took her to Alwar," police officer Rajender Singh told IANS.
Other accused included two students from the victim's college, Manish and Rambir. The fourth accused, Sawant, hails from Alwar.
