PANIPAT: A mentally-challenged minor girl was raped in a house in Panipat on Friday. Cops said the girl lived with her parents in a rented accommodation and was raped by house owner Jagtar Singh and his accomplice Gurnam Singh.
Cops said the victim was alone at the time and her parents were away for work. Jagtar Singh and Gurnam Singh forcefully entered the house and committed the crime.
SHO (city) Vishal Kumar said a case has been registered against Jagtar under Section 120B and Section 376 of IPC against Gurnam.
The accused have been arrested and report of medical examination done on the victim is awaited.
