CHANDIGARH: With the arrest of four persons today, the Haryana Police claimed to have busted a sex racket in Sirsa city.
Ramesh Bhatia, Dharmender, Sonu and Vikram were arrested and produced in court which sent them to jail, police said.
During interrogation the accused admitted that they brought girls from West Bengal to Delhi on promise of job and thereafter the girls were subjected to prostitution, police said.
Meanwhile, three cricket bookies were also arrested from Durga Colony in Karnal, police said.
Bharat Bhushan, Hemant and Rajan, all resident of Karnal were arrested for allegedly betting during a 20-20 match between Chenai Super King and Mumbai Indian Champion League.
