PATNA: The growing lawlessness on the B N College campus came to the fore here on Saturday when a girl student was forcibly taken out of the college up to Gandhi Maidan and another student was mercilessly beaten up by some miscreants. An FIR has been lodged with the Pirbahore police against a former college student.
Giving details of the incident, PU proctor Kriteshwar Prasad said that a former student of BBA course was teasing a girl student and hurling vulgar comments on her for the last few days. When a student objected to it, he was mercilessly beaten up causing severe injuries. The ex-student forcibly took the girl out of the campus. In the meantime, some students collected and chased them up to Gandhi Maidan.
Prasad said that stern action would be taken against the miscreant who was reportedly residing unauthorisedly in the B N College hostel. He said that this boy was also involved in the incident in which the then college principal, Raj Kishore Prasad, and some other teachers were attacked a couple of years back.
