GURGAON: Twenty-five-year-old driver Sandeep, accused of raping a 16-year-old domestic help employed at a Sushant Lok I flat, was sent to judicial custody on Friday. Meanwhile, Nancy Kheda, the employer of the maid, has been missing from her Sushant Lok I flat since Friday. An FIR under Section 374 (unlawful compulsory labour) of IPC and Section 26 (exploitation of juvenile or child employee) of the Juvenile Justice Act was registered against Kheda on Thursday.
In this connection, a police team had gone to her flat on Friday to arrest her but returned empty-handed after finding the flat locked. While confirming Friday's development, SHO Gaurav said that they were carrying out investigations in the case. Kheda reportedly works as a teacher with a Delhi-based school.
