RAJKOT: A 20-year-old woman was forced to dip her hand in boiling oil by members of husband's family to prove her innocence with regards to a missing gold ornament in Ravaliyavagar village in Dhrangdhra taluka of Surendranagar district.
Three persons have been arrested in the case.
Sources said the incident took place two days back when family members leveled allegations of theft against Rasila Vaghela. Those arrested have been identified as her father-in- law Tapu Vaghela, Lalji Vaghela and Bhikha Vaghela.
