MARGAO: Two Russian women were allegedly molested, assaulted and robbed late Tuesday night at Goa's Varca.
Colva police said the incident occurred when the two Russians were returning to their guest house from Varca beach along with their Indian friend, Arvind Kumar Sharma. The police complaint filed by Sharma stated that three motorcycle-borne men started beating him up.
The men then assaulted the two Russian tourists, molested them and snatched gold ornaments and cash worth $1,200. Police have registered a case of molestation.
