GHAZIABAD: A girl was on Sunday stabbed by a youth after she refused his marriage proposal in Hapur city near here, police said.
The incident took place at Panchsheel Nagar area. The victim was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, they said.
According to police, the man was earlier arrested last year for throwing acid on the same girl.
He was released on parole about 10 days ago. Search is on for the man who fled after committing the crime, police said.
