GURGAON: Police have arrested two men and nine women who were allegedly running a prostitution racket. The men allegedly functioned as pimps and used to drive the women to 'customers".
Taking action after a complaint from a local resident, the police caught the accused from Sector 56 on Thursday evening.
"We posed as potential customers and approached the accused and asked them out. Subsequently, the two men came with nine women at Sector 56 HUDA and asked us to choose one of them. They were caught red-handed," said a police officer.
An FIR has been lodged against all the accused. The police have also taken the cars into custody. "They will be charged for immoral trafficking. We are investigating the case," said Krishna Murari, ACP (Sadar).
