NEW DELHI: In two separate cases, two minor girls have been allegedly raped in the trans-Yamuna area of east Delhi.
A seven-year-old girl was raped by an unidentified person in Gokulpuri, northeast Delhi. The victim had gone to a shop when she went missing, sources said. Her parents found her later with bloodstained clothes. Police were informed and the girl was taken to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital. Rape was confirmed and a case registered.
In another case, a 16 year-old-girl was abducted and raped by her neighbor in Gandhi Nagar. "The accused took her to Haryana last year and raped her," said a cop. Her medical examination confirmed rape. The accused has been held
