GHAZIABAD: Police have rescued a 13-year-old girl from West Bengal who was allegedly being married to a 30-year-old man in the district.
The minor told the police that she hailed from West Bengal and was on her way to Patna to meet her grandmother when she was lured by a woman to accompany her.
The girl was kept in a house in Massoorie area and was to be married to a local man of more than twice her age.
The man is absconding, police said.
