JAIPUR: Tension prevailed in Kasola town of Bhilwara district on Saturday when a 45-year-old man, Satyanarayan Acharya, who had protested against the molesters of her daughter, was stabbed to death in public. Two of his family members sustained injuries during the incident and are undergoing treatment.
Police said youths from a Rajput family had misbehaved with the victim's daughter a few days ago. "Ever since the incident, there was an animosity between the two families," Bhilwara SP Nitin Deep said.
He added that a group of three youths stabbed Satyanarayan to death and caused serious injuries to two others, including a woman.
The local residents staged demonstration demanding immediate arrest of the accused. "We have rounded up the three attackers and they are being interrogated," the officer said.
