JHANSI: A 17-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide after being raped by her sister's husband in Babina on Thursday. As per the report lodged by the victim's father, Vineeta was found dead in a well in Shastri Nagar, Babina in the morning.
According to reports, Vineeta had gone to her sister Rajni's house a few days back. Rajni was in Delhi after her mother-in law fell sick, so Vineeta went to her place to look after the household chores.

On Thursday, when Vineeta's father Nandkishore didn't get any response from Vineeta after several calls, he immediately rushed to his son-in-law's house.
He lodged a complaint against his son-inlaw under Section 176 and the postmortem report is awaited.
Preliminary inquiries have revealed that the husband, Moni, was upset with his wife as she could not bear a child for so many years and was interested in marrying her younger sister.
Nandkishore has alleged that his son-in-law raped his younger daughter and Moni's parents were also involved in the incident.
