GUWAHATI: A district court in Darang district has sent a person to prison on Monday on charges of molestation. The accused has been identified as Abdul Kuddus.
"The family of the girl complained that she was molested by Abdul and we arrested him," said a police officer of Mangaldoi police. According to police, the accused had been molesting the nine-year-old girl taking advantage of her loneliness in the house situated just beside his home in Mongoldoi town for quite some time. Police produced him in the judicial magistrate's court on Monday which sent him to Darang jail.
