Ghaziabad: A woman was allegedly murdered by her husband and his beloved after setting her ablaze in Bhadsyana village in the district, police said on Thursday.
According to SHO (Bahadurgarh) R P Sharma, the woman's husband Jai Kishan was having an illicit relation with another woman in the village which was opposed by his wife.
Last evening, Kishan and his lover Anita conspired and poured kerosene on her and set her on fire, Sharma said, adding she later died in hospital.
Police have arrested both Kishan and Anita and they were sent to judicial custody after producing them before the magistrate, he said.
