GURGAON: A man has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 19-year-old woman near New Colony when she was on way back home. The accused, who also threatened to kill the woman if she opposed his advances, was on Thursday produced in a city court which granted him bail.
According to the police, the woman, a student, had lodged a complaint with the New Colony police station late on Wednesday that she was physically assaulted by one Jatin Chutani, a 21-year-old resident of Madanpuri colony, near New Colony.
"We have lodged an FIR against the accused under sections 354, 506 of the IPC and filed a challan in the court today," said ASI Suresh Kumar.
