GURGAON: An eight-year-old minor girl was allegedly molested by a youth in Badshahpur. The accused is on the run. An FIR has been lodged against the youth. The girl's family lives in a rented house in Ambedkar colony, Badshahpur. Raju Bengali, a native of West Bengal, was also living as a tenant near the girl's house. He was working as a labourer. The victim's mother has lodged complaint against Bengali saying that he had molested her 8-year-old daughter when she was alone in the house on Sunday afternoon. When her daughter cried for help, the accused flee from the spot as other tenants gathered there to help her.
"An FIR has been lodged against him under the section 354 of IPC. We will arrest him soon," said inspector Rajpal, SHO, Badshahpur police station.
