HYDERABAD: Four days ahead of the National Girl Child's Day, the body of a new-born baby girl was found in a dustbin in Amberpet on Sunday.
Locals at Annapurna Nagar in Amberpet alerted the police about the body on Sunday morning. "The baby girl, appears to be a seven-month still-born premature baby," Amberpet inspector A Srinivas said.
The body has been shifted to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem examination and police are verifying births at all nearby hospitals ascertain the victim's family.
