AHMEDABAD: A team of Navrangpura police officials arrested three persons in connection with a prostitution racket busted on Monday night on the basis of a tip-off. The police have started search for other members of the gang.
The Navrangpura police said a team led by sub-inspector U D Jadeja received a tip-off that Prince Hair and Care, a beauty salon in Stadium House opposite Stadium crossroads, runs a prostitution racket. On the basis of the information, the officials sent a decoy at the shop that confirmed that in the name of massage, the shop offered girls. "We raided the shop with a team at 8.45 pm on Monday and arrested Naresh Makhija, 27, a resident of Kubernagar, Gaurav Patel, 26, a resident of Naranpura and Geeta Das, 32, a resident of Chandlodia," said a Navrangpura police officials.
