BANGALORE: Frustrated by the regular beatings by her alcoholic husband, a mother of two beat her husband to death in Gangavara village underChannarayapattana police limits late Thursday night. Police arrested her and recovered an iron pipe and a kitchen knife.
Ramakrishna, a dailywage worker, was an alcoholic and would beat his wife Yashodamma. "On Thursday night, Ramakrishna scolded her over a trivial issue and started beating her. She snatched the pipe and attacked him," police said. Ramakrishna was shifted to Devanahalli government hospital where he died on Friday morning.
