VADODARA: A girl from Santrampur taluka in Panchmahal district has accused eleven people of raping her. The accused, include a woman, who allegedly had aided the people in the crime.
The victim, a resident of Vantavachhoda village, has claimed that a youth Tikku Pateliya of Bayadiya village, who knew her as they often travelled in the same jeep as passengers asked her to reach Lunawada town on July 11. From here he allegedly took her back to her village and took the key of a room in the local 'anganwadi' from a worker Jashoda.
The victim claimed that she was raped inside the room by Tikku and others. The girl has claimed that she was later taken to Sardarpura village near Halol where she was raped by other persons. She claimed that she also fell ill at Sardarpura.
In the meantime, the girl's father who had registered a missing person's report earlier approached a NGO and the girl was located. The NGO convinced the persons who had kept her to bring her to Halol. Following this an offence was registered against 11 people including Tikku and Jashoda at Santrampur police station.
