Indore: A director of a private school was today arrested for allegedly raping and killing a 25-year-old teacher whose mutilated body was found last week in a forest near Choral area here, police said.
Arun Panchal was arrested from Nagada in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain district, where he was hiding, Indore SP Srinivas Verma said.
The victim was allegedly taken to the forest by Panchal on June 27, where he killed her, the official said, adding that the accused had an illicit relationship with the woman.
He had confessed to the crime, the SP claimed. Panchal said he killed her because the victim was extorting money from him.
