Hyderabad: The cyber crime police of the CID on Friday arrested a software engineer for allegedly harassing a girl by sending her abusive emails and SMSs.

The accused, Harihara Kumar, 25, of Ramanthapur is a network administrator at an IT firm at Gachibowli. On June 2, the victim, who is Kumar's close relative, complained to the cyber police that she, her friends and family members were receiving abusive emails and SMSs from anonymous persons.
